winter trade update
The winter transfer window has come to a close and there has not been a lot of money involved. A few big name players have changed clubs but most of it was either on loan or a free transfer. Big spenders in summer trimmed down their squad by 1 after they let Ruud van Nistelrooy go to Hamburger SV on a free transfer. They did not sign anyone which is not a huge surprise considering the money they spent in summer. Goran Pandev signed for Inter from Lazio on a free transfer, Robinho from Man City to Santos on a 6 month loan deal, Robbie Keane from Spurs to Celtic also on a loan deal for 6 months. Maxi signed for Liverpool from Atletico and Luca Toni went to Roma from Bayern. These were the big names that were involved in the Jan transfer window.
