It has been quite boring for me all these days without Champions League football. The knockout round is due to start in February and I am eagerly anticipating. I had to satisfy my football hunger with the leagues, the Carling Cup, the FA Cup, the Copa del Rey, the Copa Italia and all that stuff. None of them are like the Champions League though. I seriously wish that the European competition starts today but I know that I have waited so long and that I still have to wait just a couple of weeks more. I am more than eager for the knockout round to start! Come on!!!
I being an ardent soccer fan, need to watch all the matches so that I can keep myself up to date. I watch matches in cable television and there was this one time when I was really pissed about it (not that I am happy at other times) it was a Champions League match and was an important one too. It was during that match, I missed DIRECTV a lot. One of my friends keeps bragging about DIRECT TV all the time. I used to think that he was a jerk and all that stuff but it was this friend and his DIRECTTV that helped me out by updating scores on that day! From that day onwards, I have been waiting to get a connection for myself. It is just a matter of time before I do
The Snow has played a major role in the footballing lives of the people in England and the UK. As many as seven matches were canceled in the Premier League because of the snow. This means my whole attention was focused on the La Liga and one blockbuster fixture in Serie A (there was another one that was the real deal) Real Madrid and Barcelona both secured wins on Sunday. In Italy, Milan traveled to Turin to face Juventus and was victorious by a 3-0 scoreline. Inter came from behind and scored 2 goals in the final 2 minutes of the match to secure all 3 points against Siena. This was all that happened last week in football in the 3 major leagues and for the big teams!
